This distributor requires an external 12 volt coil for electronic ignition and is NOT included.  Distributor works on Big Block Chevy 366, 396, 427, 454, 502.  If you want this distributor & spark plug wires set with a coil. We carry the distributor in Red, Blue or Black and the coils in Red, Blue, Black or Chrome.

We also carry this electronic distributor with a female (points style) cap.  It has the classic “Points style” look, but is completely electronic.  The female cap style distributor and wires are both available in Red, Blue or Black and the coil is chrome.

**PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST RUN EXTERNAL COIL WITH THIS DISTRIBUTOR and it is not included. Coil needs to be 12V and have an output of 40,000 volts or more.

This Distributor Features:

-Small Cap allows for easy fire wall clearance, especially for Pre-1975 that do may not have the room for a large size HEI.

This also includes RED 8mm HI-Performance universal cut-to-fit spiral core spark plug wires for Big Block Chevy 366, 396, 427, 454, 502with the 135 degree (a.k.a. 45 degree) Spark plug Boots.   These wires are long and you cut to the length you want and crimp on the distributor end.  The length of the wires (not including the boots) are 2 @ 33″, 2 @ 37″, 2 @ 41″ & 2 @ 49″.  This set includes the 8 Spark plug wires, a 25″ coil wire with ends/boots for both a male and female coil,  the HEI distributor ends/boots and a professional multi-function crimp tool (see second picture above).   Getting that perfect fit with these cut-to-fit wires is a breeze with the included professional crimping tool!!

The gray spark plug boots are higher temp boots.  The can withstand 50 degrees more heat than a standard spark plug boot.

With only 270 ohms per foot, these high performance wires are an industry leader!! The less ohms, the less resistance!! MADE IN THE USA!!

These wires and distributor are RED!!  They are also available in BLUE or BLACK…

This distributor and wires can also be used on Small Block Chevy if you want to use the 135 degree boots instead of the traditional 90 degree boots for the small block Chevy.  These wires are also available with straight spark plug boots.

These High Performance wires only have 270 ohms per foot!!  The less Ohms, the more Performance
