This new distributor fits the 1949-1953 FORD LATE FLAT HEAD ENGINES 239 & 255
Whether you are cruising the streets or hitting the track for the weekend, go “Pro” with TSP Ready to Run Distributors. Our Ready to Run distributors have machine polished aluminum housing with an adjustable vacuum adding 10 degrees of advance along with a simple Three-Wire connector and brass bushings. Our Pro Series now features an improved high performance circuit board for use up to 9,000 RPM and screw down cap. The compact design of the cap allows for more clearance around the intake manifold for cars and trucks that do not accept large HEI style cap.
Distributor also comes with extra Advance Bushing and Advance Springs (Please see the Product Details chart below). Also includes a Vacuum Block Off. Easy installation with 3 wire hookup and includes wiring diagram.

**PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST RUN EXTERNAL COIL WITH THIS DISTRIBUTOR and it is included. Coil needs to be 12V and have an output of 40,000 volts or more. This Small Cap HEI Ready-To-Run distributor is made for easy installation. Just hook up the three wires and you are “Ready-To-Run”!! This distributor comes with a 3 year warranty.
This listing also includes a New CHROME ROUND 12 Volt coil that puts out 45,000 volts. This coil has the classic “old Skool” look and is oil-filled. This is a perfect coil to run with this electronic distributor. The coil also comes with a 3 year warranty. The Coil is CHROME. RED, BLACK or BLUE coil are also available. Please contact us with any questions or if you want to change colors.
One coil wire is included (not two as pictured). The photo shows 2 different coil wires (for you to reference). Both have one male end and one female end. Please contact us and let us know if you want a straight or 90 degree boot on the male end of the coil wire. If a coil wire is not selected, we will send you the coil wire with 90 degree boots on both ends.
